
Founder interviews often mix four different kinds of statements into a single confident answer: personal experience, an explanation of how something works, a measured result, and a prediction. The 18% rise is measurement, but the figure is incomplete without a starting value, and makes it unclear whether it is talking about actual percentages or percentage points. Sample size, test duration, participant selection, and the definition of completion could also change the result. The final clause is a forecast. A controlled test may support optimism, but it cannot establish how a broader audience will behave after release.
Verify Claims Outside the Recording
Check the claims made before repeating them as facts. Look for a dated methodology, product documentation, release notes, or an independent account. Confirm whether a percentage means percentage points or relative change, and whether the reported period matches the claim.
